Episode #83 – Hey Connor, YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!

Connor Meets Messier and it gets weirder and weirder each week.

Ryan, Dave and P Mac get together this week to talk about the week in the NHL. From a struggling at home Vancouver Canucks to a 9-0 Montreal Canadiens. Oh what’s that? They’re playing each other this week?? I wonder how that will go!

They look at the Canucks’ kids and if the dream is over and it’s time to send some back to junior. They also spend another week cracking up talking about the awful and embarrassing Messier meets McDavid commercial series and where they went wrong.

Finally, the gang looks at the scoring problems in Anaheim, and the Tortorella problems in Columbus. They also discuss the Stamkos trade possibilities and Alex Ovechkin’s new game.

Episode #82 – Election Night In Canada!

We started podcasting as the votes were being counted during the 2015 Canadian Federal Election, one of the most important elections in history!

Ryan, Dave and Geeta get together this week to talk about the slipping popularity of the Maple Leafs (who got bumped off the national game on CBC), the Vancouver Canucks’ growing pains and things slowly starting to go in the right direction in Edmonton.

They’re talking about the Montreal Canadiens’ amazing start, a slow start for Sidney Crosby and a fun chat about those weird Connor McDavid and Mark Messier commercials.

Finally, the gang looks at the amazing set of rookies tearing up the league early in the season and talk about a sleepy Alex Ovechkin, who got a second chance unlike Josh Ho-Sang (and rightfully so!)

Episode #81 – Connor McDaigle

We’re one weekend deep into the 2015/16 NHL season so naturally, we know Connor McDavid is Erie Otters bound…no, not really, but his NHL debut was a quiet one to say the least.

Geeta, Dave and Ryan are here this week to open some Tim Hortons NHL cards and talk about the first few games of this brand new NHL season. They like the young kids on the Vancouver Canucks, who are already producing and wondering why the slow start for Connor McDavid.

They talk about the rough waters in Los Angeles with the Kings right now and Ryan raves about Evander Kane, who, if he stays consistent, could be the perfect line mate for Jack Eichel.

The gang also looks Stamkos’ staying in Tampa, ongoing problems in Brooklyn with the New York Islanders as well as a very bad start with the Philadelphia Flyers (players only meeting just two games into the season).

Finally, the gang looks at former Vancouver Canucks in the Hockey Hall of Fame and share their love of 3 on 3 OT.

Episode #80 – Young As Hell: The 2015/16 NHL Season Preview!

Spoiler Alert: this is a fun podcast! And there is an official drinking game for this podcast! Every time we mention a former Canuck, take a drink!

Full bench this week as Ryan, P Mac, Dave and Geeta are here to get you prepared for the 2015/16 NHL Season.

First off, they look at how young as hell the Canucks got and the crazy decisions they made to waive a couple of players that were expected to make the opening night roster.

This season, they decided to pick only ten teams to preview. Ten teams that are expected to do great things or have exciting story lines to follow this year. So you know what that means! No St. Louis, Columbus, Nashville, Florida, Carolina, Colorado, or Minnesota. All Killer, no filler!

Who made the exclusive PON10 list? Who’s the good? Who’s the bad? and who’s ugly?
